The foundry is able to offer you casting utilising raw virgin material which is sourced locally, and the ingot billets are made up to European and/or American standards to suite our clients requirements. We utilise virgin material, thus reducing the possibility of foreign elements contaminating the material. We cast in the following alloys, namely but not  limited to ;

• Aluminium -Ranging from standard materials to the Heat -treatable alloys

• Bronze namely LG2

• Aluminium Bronze

• Phosphor-Bronze

• HTB ( High Tensile Bronze

• Brass

• Copper

• and most Copper based alloys
   

The material is made up in batches and colour coded with batch numbers, only once it has met the require chemical analysis required for the material specification.

Sand Castings are ideal for low volume items, larger items or items that are more complex and intricate that may requiring a number of core-boxes.

Gravity Die Casting is perfect for higher volume items, neater machined surfaces, quicker turn-around times, better mechanical properties of casted material. We currently gravity die cast items that range from 20 grams to 40 kilograms.

The advantage of gravity dies casting are :

•  Tooling cost a fraction of that of high pressure die casting

• Don’t have minimum order quantities or tonnages to run an order

• Quality and finish is equivalent to that of high pressure die casting

• Not as restricted to size and design

We also offer both destructive and non-destructive testing and reports on our casted products and matrial.
